Hello all...one of the riders contacted me with a really good idea that we are going to try this year.
If there are any of you that have a business that you would like to promote,we are going to be adding business cards to the welcome packages.
If you want to send me 125 business cards I will see that they get added to the registration packages...a great way to network!!
Please send them to:

I remember the days in elementary school, we would get our packages of pictures including a large quanity of small ones and rush home to get them cut apart.  The next day as school, we would trade pictures.  Most of us would try not to give away too many without getting one in return.  To this day, I have a drawer full of old pictures that include those small, pictures of my young friends that I do not even remember the names of.  Good thing, many include the names scribbled on the back.  With some of them, that does not even help jog the memory of who they are.
Anyway,

This was the thought that came to my mind when Tami suggested that we try to get the gals that attend the North Dakota Ladies Run this year to bring business cards with them to pass out, or trade. This way we can remember who we have met and how to get a hold of them after the gathering.  In the past our choice has been to just wait till the next Ladies Run.

So, this it the request, if you have access to the computer, it is fairly easy to produce your own business cards.  Maybe some of you have cards made already.  If you can, please bring about 130 of them for trading with the other attendees.
Thanks, Cindy and Tami

Camping

Homme Dam and Lake are located on the South Branch of the Park River two miles west of the city of Park River, N.D., on Highway 17. At this beautiful 200-acre lake you can enjoy canoeing, water skiing, boating and fishing. The Walsh County Park Board operates a park, Homme Lake/Swimming Area near the dam that provides facilities for boat launching, camping and picnicking. Homme Dam has been reconstructed and has a new “beach” swimming area near the dam itself. A bike/walk path has been constructed from the west side of Park River to the Spring Overflow at Spillway Homme Dam Recreation.

Camping
There are 31 camping sites, 13 of which have electrical hookups but no water.  Twelve sites have water and electrical hookups. Sites without electricity or water are $10 a day. Electrical only~ $15 a day. $20 per day for electricity and water. New restrooms and showers have been added. Generally the camping sites are available on a first-come basis.

We have our rooms booked, do you?

The Archives Page was constructed with the help of Tami Henninger, from Bismarck.   At her suggestion, we have added many other pages such as, the In Memory Page, the Women owned Business Page, the Her Story Page, to name a few.  Tami has provided a wealth of information for most of the pages found here, not to mention her uncanny ability to proof my writing and find my miserable spelling errors.  A Big Thanks goes out to Tami.   If you would like to see something added to these pages, please contact her or me. And please stop by her personal web site to check out some of the great stuff she has posted.  TQOFE
